Volunteering & Remembrance

At Branch 44, service doesn’t end with membership—it continues through action.

We are proud to support veterans and our community through a wide range of initiatives, many of which are made possible by the time, care, and generosity of our volunteers.

What Remembrance Means

Remembrance is at the heart of everything we do.

It is about honouring those who have served, preserving their stories, and ensuring that their sacrifices are never forgotten. But it is also about continuing that legacy through meaningful support—standing by veterans and their families today, and for generations to come.

Through our work, we strive to keep Remembrance active, relevant, and deeply connected to our community.

Making an Impact

Thanks to the support of our members and community, Branch 44 raised $18,392.15 last year in support of veterans, youth, and community organizations across British Columbia. These funds help provide essential services, support programs, and opportunities that make a real and lasting difference.

Get Involved

We are always looking for volunteers who want to be part of this important work.

Whether you’re interested in supporting events, contributing behind the scenes, or helping with community outreach, your time and energy can have a meaningful impact.

We also welcome donations of clothing and essential items, which are distributed to organizations and individuals in need through the programs we support.

If you have items to donate, or if you’re interested in volunteering, we would love to hear from you.
