Celebrating 100 Years of the Royal Canadian Legion
On July 17, President Heddy Bing and 1st Vice President Lizz Lindsay proudly represented TVS Branch 44 at the BC/Yukon Command's 100th Anniversary Celebration, hosted by Billy Bishop Legion Branch 176.
The celebration brought together Legion members from across British Columbia and Yukon to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion. Guests enjoyed inspiring presentations, reflected on a century of service and remembrance, and celebrated the tremendous impact the Legion has had on veterans, serving members, their families, and communities across Canada.
As part of the celebration, Billy Bishop Branch 176 presented a donation to HERO DAWGS Pet Therapy Society, recognizing the important work the organization does by providing therapy dog visits to hospitals, first responders, healthcare workers, veterans, and others in need of comfort and support throughout British Columbia.

We are honoured to be part of the Legion's remarkable 100-year legacy and look forward to continuing our mission of service, remembrance, and community for generations to come.
