Celebrating the Dedicated Members Who Us Stronger!

One of the highlights of our June General Meeting was the opportunity to recognize several outstanding members whose years of service and volunteer contributions have helped shape Royal Canadian Legion TVS Branch 44.

Membership milestones are an opportunity to celebrate not only years of membership, but also decades of dedication, friendship, and service to the Legion and the veteran community. We were honoured to recognize three remarkable members for their longstanding commitment to Branch 44.

Congratulations to Janice Whiting, who received her 40-Year Membership Pin, Valerie MacGregor, who was presented with her 25-Year Membership Pin, and our President, Heddy Bing, who was honoured with her 45-Year Membership Pin. Their years of service represent an extraordinary commitment to the values and mission of the Royal Canadian Legion, and we thank each of them for their continued dedication.

We were also proud to present Certificates of Appreciation to Jeff Vowles, Susan Carriere, and Joe Phillips in recognition of the countless volunteer hours they have generously devoted to Branch 44. Whether behind the scenes or on the front lines of our events and initiatives, their enthusiasm, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand have made a lasting difference to our branch and our members.

Volunteers are the heart of every Legion branch. Their time, energy, and passion help create the welcoming community that makes Branch 44 such a special place, and their efforts ensure we can continue serving veterans, members, and the wider community.

Congratulations once again to all of our recipients, and thank you for everything you do. Your service, dedication, and commitment are deeply appreciated, and we are proud to celebrate your contributions to Branch 44.
