Branch 44 Recognized for 100 Years of Legion Service

While attending the 50th Dominion Convention of The Royal Canadian Legion in Winnipeg, our Branch 44 representatives had the honour of receiving a special certificate recognizing Vancouver T.V.S. Branch 44 for 100 years of Legion service.

The certificate recognizes our Branch’s “unwavering dedication and remarkable commitment to the Aims and Objects of The Royal Canadian Legion” and marks an incredible milestone in our history.

For 100 years, Branch 44 has been part of the Legion story — supporting Veterans, honouring Remembrance, serving our community and carrying forward the values upon which the organization was built.

But a century of service does not happen without people.

This recognition belongs to the generations of members, Veterans, volunteers and Branch leaders, past and present, who have given their time, energy and dedication to Branch 44. Each has played a part in building the legacy we are privileged to continue today.

Receiving this recognition during the Legion’s own Centennial year made the occasion even more meaningful — a celebration of 100 years of The Royal Canadian Legion and 100 years of service from our own Branch.

We are incredibly proud of our history, grateful to everyone who has been part of it, and excited about what lies ahead.
