Branch 44 Takes on Music Bingo… and Wins!

Branch 44 members have been getting in on the fun at the Lynn Valley Legion’s Music Bingo nights throughout the summer — and a few have even gone home as winners!

Members have joined the Wednesday night crowds at Branch 114 for evenings filled with music, singing along, plenty of laughs and a little friendly competition. Music Bingo puts a musical twist on the traditional game, with familiar songs replacing numbers and lots of opportunities to test just how well you know your favourite hits.

Over the summer, we’ve loved seeing more and more familiar Branch 44 faces turning up — sometimes just a few members and other times quite a group!

It has been especially nice to see our members getting together outside of our regular Branch 44 meetings and activities, enjoying each other’s company and connecting with members and guests from another local Legion branch.

That is one of the things we love about the Legion community. Membership doesn't have to stop at the doors of your own Branch. Visiting other Legions, supporting their events and getting to know their members is a wonderful way to experience everything the larger Legion community has to offer.

We also love capturing photos of our members when we spot them out enjoying other Legion events. These are the moments that show another side of Branch life — friendship, camaraderie, laughter and simply enjoying time together.

And while winning certainly isn’t everything, we have to admit it’s been fun watching some familiar Branch 44 faces celebrate a Music Bingo victory or two along the way!

We hope to see plenty more Branch 44 members out and about at other Legion events in the months ahead. ❤️
