Royal Canadian Legion Branch 44 is incredibly proud to celebrate one of our own, Comrade Valerie MacGregor, who was recently awarded The Royal Canadian Legion's Meritorious Service Medal in recognition of her outstanding dedication and many years of exceptional service.
At our September General Meeting, members had the pleasure of recognizing Valerie's achievement and celebrating this well-deserved honour together.
Throughout her years with The Royal Canadian Legion, Valerie has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to serving Veterans, their families and the wider community. Her contributions extend across every level of the organization, including service at the Branch, Zone, Provincial and Dominion levels.
A Past President of BC/Yukon Command, Valerie currently serves as a Dominion Vice-President and remains an important part of our own Branch 44 family as our Immediate Past President.
Her extensive experience, leadership and dedication have made a lasting contribution to the Legion and to the many people and communities it serves.
A Special Celebration at Branch 44
Because Valerie holds such a special place in our Branch, we wanted to mark this achievement with a celebration of our own.
During the September General Meeting, she was surprised with flowers and a special gift as a small expression of our gratitude and appreciation for everything she has done, and continues to do.
It was a wonderful opportunity for fellow members and friends to celebrate not only her remarkable accomplishments but also the friendship, generosity and spirit of comradeship she brings to Branch 44.
On behalf of the Executive and members of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 44, we extend our warmest congratulations to Valerie on this prestigious and well-deserved honour.
Thank you, Valerie, for your exceptional service, your leadership and your unwavering commitment to The Royal Canadian Legion. We are immensely proud to call you one of our own.
