Family, friends and fellow Comrades recently came together to remember and celebrate the life of Gerry Vowles, sharing stories, memories and friendship while honouring a man who meant so much to so many.
It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces gathered in one place. The conversations, embraces, smiles and shared memories were a reflection of the many connections Gerry made throughout his life and the impact he had on those who knew him.
Branch 44 was grateful to be part of this special gathering and to have the opportunity to capture some of these moments in photographs. They offer just a glimpse of an afternoon filled with friendship, remembrance and a shared appreciation for Gerry and the life he lived.
Gerry will be deeply missed, but very fondly remembered by his family, friends, fellow Comrades and the Branch 44 community.
